Smile To Stay Young! OR ~ ~ “Do You Remember These?”

A little more encouragement for the Baby Boomers!

Just smiling will keep you Young

I can still remember The Burma Shave Road signs and this brought a smile to my face!

John Winkler writes: You may need to watch it twice; once to watch the Burma shave signs change and once to catch all the pictures plus listening to the music of the Sattler Brothers THIS IS REALLY GREAT.
For those of you too young to remember "too bad you missed it!"

“Writing Keeps Me Young!”, said Phyllis A. Whitney

One of the things that I really enjoy is 'Writing'. After evaluating the Wealth in Books, (See series in BookWealth!) I see where Mystery Lovers took a loss, as Novelist Phyllis A. Whitney died February 8, 2008 at 104, in a hospital near her home reported by son-in-law, Ed Pearson.

It was reported that she said, “Writing Keeps Me Young!” as she was still publishing Romantic 'Who Done Its' even at ninety-four.

Though a sadden time for many, an encouragement to we who are looking at all things that keep our Youthfulness in our Senior years.

Hoaxes And Scams Against Seniors!

Many seniors find themselves in a place where Scam Artist and Purveyors of Hoaxes use all kinds of ways to rip them off. Banking and Credit Info, Insurance, Investment and probably the most used is Posing as some part of the Social Security System.

Make sure you are aware of these different tactics and when receiving a phone call, inquiry through the US Postal Service and/or including an E-Mail request, make sure that you contact the sender through a return call to or search for the legitimate Company or Agency on the Internet.

Regardless of how youthful you believe you are, make sure of what you are doing before giving out any of your Information. Even Social Security’s ‘Public Affaires Specialist’ Tom Clark warns:
In an effort to combat such frauds, we want to make one thing perfectly clear: Social Security will not send you an e-mail asking you to give us your personal information, such as your Social Security number, date of birth, or other private information. If someone saying they are from Social Security does e-mail you requesting information, don't respond to the message. Instead contact your local Social Security office or call us at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778) to see whether we really need any information from you.

We need to be continually solvent that our Senior Youthfulness will always be funded!
Until next time, DP
